Course Number (TRAD5681)

The Industrial Technologies Maintenance (ITM) training and certification program  prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machinery, marine deck machinery, steam propulsion, refinery, and pipeline-distribution systems.  Certification is through the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS)

Adhere to Safety, Health, and environmental regulations. 

Use dimensional measuring instruments.

Install, align, and maintain mechanical power transmission systems.

Perform normal start up, operation, and shut down of mechanical power transmission systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical power transmission systems.

Install, align, and maintain fluid power systems.

Perform normal start up, operation, and shut down of fluid power systems.

Troubleshoot fluid power systems.
